School choice: absolute competition

Parents send kids to schools of their choice and their tax dollars follow the kids.  The current system allows parents only two choices: change nothing or send more money to the very same people who messed it up in the first place.  Our current situation: the education is most expensive and the results are the worst in modern history.  Passing more levies to line up pockets of union bosses is not the solution.

Jobs, economic growth

Nothing is better for job creation and economic growth than profit motive.  We can talk about weather, sports, arts, education, ever growing government programs but nothing can touch profit motive. One benefit of the Federal system our founding fathers setup is we can learn from the successes and failures of other cities and states.

We don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Midland, Texas has limited government, is generating unprecedented economic growth with an extraordinary jobs creation rate. We need to learn from and even copy the successes of the richest zip code in the nation.

Fracking, energy costs, utility bills:

There are no new hazards in fracking.

Horizontal fracking is new.  The vertical fracking has been done for decades.  The only difference now is technology got better; we are able to economically horizontally tap into gas and oil we couldn’t do earlier.

Government rationing of energy production and consumption is the opposite of what North East Ohio people need.  Fracking has been a welcome economic boom to us.  Slowing down or banning fracking hurts employment and will result in higher utility bills.

Health, women’s issues:

Women’s health issues are not the same thing as abortion.  In rare cases women’s health requires abortions.  There is no known pending legislation or proposals to outlaw abortions even when mother’s health is in question.  The combining of abortion and women’s health into one is used as a scare tactic to get low information voters voting for Democrats.
